The Competition
Designing an E-sting.
The format i'm going to use is a stop motion flame with live action, as I think it's the best looking comparing to stop-motion on objects, toy, lego or clay motion. The second reason I decide to use life action is because I believe that it will be the most easier one to so; as I have made these lego and live action before. The lego animation I've made are very hard to complete as it's keep breaking and we have to be very careful with every movement we put on the legos's character, but when it come to live action we just have to directed it right. This is also to do with the amount of time that will take to complete this projects; it's unlikely that we will be given any longer then 2 week and I means 2 week in lesson and our spear time!
The narrative of the scene is about a a guy who's wearing a horses mask creepily chasing a girl while she's running for her life, finally he catches her in the dead end street. All he wanted was to show her an E4 logos on his phone then her eyes shine with e4 logos..
The scene will be set on the dark lonely street where the street light just came on, the scene could be any where in America or britain as long as it's near the country side and as if the street are given the horror content; so, it's set the scene given the stereotype of sci-fi, horror movies. I will also use lighting and camera angle to improve the emotion of the scene.

As I have tried to think of many possible problems that could happen between filming and covered it up by changing scene, location and characters. So the only problem that I have left with and couldn't figure out the way to cover it within no budged is that they could be be car, people, etc that is going to use the street. the black ground can be hard as there is houses and people can turn on/off their light all the time.
My target audiences are mainly people the ages between 13-50, both male and female and more who's a fan of vampire and werewolf,heroes/horror movies.

Pre-production paperwork (of a final production)
I have filmed 3 time with a different Ideas and the research and ideas above are the very first ideas)
Storyboard
This is my story board, each part of the scene last about 2 seconds, the motivation of the character's that she try to pick up a piece of paper that have an E4 logo on it but at first we can hardly see the E4 logos. Therefore to keep the audiences wondering and try to guess what is happening to the character and it the end it's show fully. All of my photo are shots in side the building along the corridor during lesson time so the location wasn't busy, there is no dialogue in the scene. At first I'm not too sure what music I'm going to used in my scene so I try them all and it's left with 2 of them that i like; which is AFRO1 and DRONE_BEAT1, then I try to used both at the same time, the result is surprisingly effective.
Location
The location I'm using is for the scene is out side my media class which is very easy and handy. The windows along the side and the door behind the camera gives me advantages for the picture to come out good and bright from the natural light. The the end of the corridor it's slightly darker but there is light that can be turn on, this is even better for my production as it's dragging the "magical E4 logo's" character into the darker place.
Mark,
ReplyDeleteGood pre-production paperwork - please remove the feedback bits though.
Ellie
Paired with the channel and esting research, this meets a merit for U33. Please make the small changes to the research post for U5.
